Funny thing is the normal core called bSNES without anything else in the name works perfect with MSU-1 and everything but renders 8:7 by default and whenever I try to set it to 4:3 it crashes. If you want to SNES on your Windows machine, we think the best emulator for the job is RetroArch with a bsnes core. The readme in the patch says this: 'Since bsnes-hd 10.5 these instructions apply to the libretro core as well, so RetroArch users no longer have to manually patch the ROM or adjust the settings', so I dont get what I could be doing wrong here.

Usually snes9x 20 plus are good options for 95% of the titles. On the other hand, the official RetroArch page for Netplay prominently features Mario Kart 64 as the very first example, showing 3 players connected, despite it being supposedly unplayable. The newest version available of Snes9x if BSNES isn't available DerKoun shares with us a special new core called bsnes HD beta.
